Bayern together with LGBT fans took part in the annual gay parade in Germany
Bayern, along with some of their LGBT fans, took part in the annual gay parade Christopher Street Day in Germany.
– Intolerance has no place at Bayern – neither on the field nor outside it. We are very happy that we have queer fans, that we have such a great relationship. This can be seen in the events we organize. The history of our club shows how important it is to fight for a tolerant world,” the club’s website quotes the words of the president of Bayern, Herbert Hainer.
Also, the CEO of Munich, Oliver Kahn, spoke about the gay parade:
– I was very happy to see how many employees and fans of Bayern marched through the streets along with our fan association Queerpass Bayern.
This shows that in our club there really are such values as diversity and tolerance. It goes without saying that everyone in the Bayern family feels welcome, valued and comfortable.
