“You don’t need to talk too much about refereeing, because players can justify failures with this” – Carrera about Spartak

The former head coach of Spartak Massimo Carrera believes that the players and the leadership of the Red-Whites should not pay more attention to refereeing in the RPL WORLD.

– I do not think that Russia has a weak level of refereeing. They err everywhere. In Italy, the rules of handplay in the penalty area are often interpreted differently.

There is no need to talk too much about refereeing, because players can use it to justify their failures on the field. But there is always increased attention to Spartak – this is their fate, ”Sport24 quotes Carrera.

On Saturday, Spartak’s press attache Dmitry Zelenov said that the club would apply to the Expert Referee Commission of the Russian Football Union (ESK RFU) following the results of the first round match with Akhmat.

The meeting in Grozny ended in a draw – 1:1. Chief referee Vladislav Bezborodov at the end of the first half in 10 seconds showed two yellow cards to Spartak defender Maciej Rybus. Spartak also conceded the ball in the 4th added minute to the first half, although the judges compensated for three minutes. Spartak veteran Evgeny Lovchev, in a commentary to Match TV, expressed the opinion that the referee should have put two penalties in favor of the guests. Among other things, Lovchev was surprised by the decision of Bezborodov not to remove Akhmat goalkeeper Shelia for hitting Spartak forward Sobolev in the shin.

Zidane is back. The Frenchman will lead one of the strongest teams in the world

Legendary former football player Zinedine Zidane Discussions were held regarding cooperation with the French Football Federation. This was reported by Footmercato and L’Équipe.

The French national team and technical staff have started their preparations for the World Cup to be held in the USA. Les Bleus have friendly matches scheduled for March (against Brazil and Colombia) and June (against Ivory Coast).

The upcoming World Cup will be Didier Deschamps’ last match with the French team he has managed since 2012.

French Football Federation and Zidane’s delegation met to discuss future cooperation. One of Zinedine’s assistants is expected to be the famous specialist David Bettoni, with whom he previously worked at Real Madrid.

The sides also discussed Zidane’s desire to have a squad large enough by national team standards, including a data analysis unit.

The world football legend plans to coordinate these steps separately with the federation, whose policy does not provide a budget increase for the national team staff.

In the updated ranking of the world’s strongest teams, the French team ranked third after Spain and Argentina.
