Fakel achieved a draw with Krasnodar after returning to the top division after 21 years

Krasnodar played a draw at home with Fakel Voronezh in the match of the 1st round of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting ended with the score 2:2.
Aleksey Ionov and Eduard Spertsyan scored goals for the hosts, John Cordoba failed to convert a penalty. The guests scored Aslan Dadashev and Roman Akbashev.
“Fakel” at the end of the last season came out in the RPL. Prior to that, the Voronezh club played in the top division in the 2001 season.
In the next round, Krasnodar will host Spartak Moscow on July 23. “Torch” a day later will meet on the road with “Akhmat” Grozny.
