Dzerzhinsky “Khimik” appealed to the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) with a request to count the defeat of Kostroma “Spartak” after a face-to-face meeting of the teams.
The match of the first round of the Second League took place on July 16 in Dzerzhinsk and ended in favor of Spartak with a score of 1:0.
– The FTC received a protest from the Khimik club about the cancellation of the result of the match with Spartak and with a request to count the opponent’s defeat, – Artur Grigoryants, head of the RFU FTC, told Match TV.
Earlier, Khimik’s press service reported that “the exit of the teams from the locker rooms was postponed first for 15 minutes, then for another half an hour, as a result, the match did not start at the prescribed 17:00, but at 18:30.” As noted by the club from Dzerzhinsk, “the reason for such a long wait in the final protocol is reflected in one sentence: “Due to the absence of confirmed football players and a team doctor in the application of the Spartak (Kostroma) team.” In fact, the administrative headquarters of the guests before the game, during the “respite” granted to him, was in active correspondence with the Football National League, trying to prove that all documents for the players had previously been sent to the league, and to get approval for their participation in the match 1- tour”.
