All quarter-final pairs of women’s Euro 2022 have become known
All the quarter-finalists of the Women’s European Football Championship, which takes place in England, have been determined.
On the last day of the group stage, the French national team played a draw with Iceland (1:1) and strengthened their leadership in Quartet D. The second line in the group went to the Belgian team, which beat Italy (1:0) with a minimum score.
Thus, the quarter-final pairs look like this:
England – Spain;
Sweden – Belgium;
Germany – Austria;
France – the Netherlands.
Failed to clear the group stage barrier: Norway, Northern Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Portugal, Iceland and Italy.
The quarter-finals will be held from 20 to 23 July. Euro 2022 will end on July 31 with the gold match, which will be held in London at Wembley Stadium.
