Wendel remains at Zenit with a new contract on improved terms – media
Midfielder “Zenith” Wendel decided to extend the current contract with the club on improved terms, the journalist Vene Casagrande said on Twitter.
Flamengo’s interest in the player was previously reported. But with the new contract, the club lost the chance of loaning the Brazilian.
Wendel, 24, joined Zenit from Sporting in October 2020. Last season, jy made 35 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
