The Russian club will receive millions for the transfer of the Ukrainian in England. Evil irony for Alexander
However, there is a risk that the money will never reach our team.
More recently, public activists called for the removal of the image of Alexander Zinchenko from the Ufa stadium. Today, a former team player can bring her a very solid profit. The Ukrainian moves from Manchester City to Arsenal, and the Russian club will earn millions on his transfer. All thanks to bonuses.
However, there is a high probability that Ufa will not receive the money. Russia was made an outcast, and now, alas, one can not stand on ceremony with our country.
Looks like we might be thrown this time too.
A pleasant surprise
Zinchenko left Ufa in 2016. Then City paid 2 million euros for him. Now, according to the authoritative insider Fabrizio Romano, the footballer is making a transfer to Arsenal for as much as 40 million. The general director of Ufa, Shamil Gazizov, is probably happy with this outcome. Six years ago, he included a clause on solidarity payments in the contract with Man City, and now Ufa should receive about 265 thousand euros. This, for a second, is about 17.5 million rubles, that is, about 6% of the club’s annual budget (300 million rubles). A very pleasant surprise in difficult times!
All this looks rather interesting. Recently, Zinchenko has been one of the main supporters of the fact that our country should be removed from all competitions and expelled from the world sports community. Now it is his transfer that brings the Russian club a good profit. What an evil irony for Alexander!
There is a problem
Money from Zinchenko’s transfer would be very useful for Ufa. Her budget in connection with the departure to the FNL was greatly reduced, sponsorship contracts are not the same as before. The club earned more than 4 million euros by selling Gamid Agalarov and Yuri Zhuravlev to Akhmat, but the situation is still difficult. And solidarity payments, unfortunately, may not reach the bank accounts of the club.
This is how it’s done officially. Let’s make a request if he passes. We will have to pay. But now, due to the sanctions, it will be difficult to transfer money. In England, solidarity payments are sent through the federation: clubs pay her, and she pays us, – said Shamil Gazizov in an interview with RB Sport.
If Ufa is left without its well-deserved millions, no one will be surprised. Recently, some Russian clubs are faced with the fact that their European counterparts refuse to repay their debts. For example, Lokomotiv still cannot get 5 million euros from Atalanta for the transfer of Alexei Miranchuk. At the same time, the “railwaymen” even meet the needs of their Italian partners and open an account in a bank convenient for them. But the money is still missing.
Needless to say, UEFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) do not take Russia’s side in anything at all. We were removed from European competitions, the best legionnaires are unlawfully taken from our championship … Against this background, solidarity payments generally seem like some kind of trifle that is not worth attention. But for Ufa, this is not a trifle at all.
