The monthly salary of Russian referees has been increased from 30,000 rubles to 50,000, said Pavel Kamantsev, head of the RFU Referee Committee.
– The remuneration of arbitrators has already changed, but not so significantly – instead of 30 thousand rubles a month, they already receive 50 thousand rubles. And from the 19th round, the reward for each match will already be significantly increased. I hope that already this week the best arbitrators will receive annual bonuses for last year. Everything has already been agreed. I think now the arbitrators will take their work even more seriously, because in the near future their remuneration will increase significantly,” Kamantsev said on the air of the “Rules of the Game” program at MATCH PREMIER.
Kamantsev also noted that under the sanctions, his department continues to interact with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), but it is too early to talk about international appointments of Russian referees.
– We have fully preserved contacts in terms of training, the referees have already gone to the training camp, received a complete set of ammunition from FIFA. As for appointments for matches, probably, until the geopolitical situation is somehow resolved, this should not be counted on. We hope that international cooperation will be resumed as soon as possible, Kamantsev added.
