Milan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko spoke about his arrest by the police.
The day before, the Frenchman’s car was stopped by three police officers in the center of Milan in connection with a shootout between two gangs. The footballer began to be searched, pointing weapons at him. During the search, the car was also held at gunpoint. One of the officers recognized the football player during the detention, having told this to his colleagues. After that, Bakayoko was immediately released.
– They apologized to me, saying that everything that happened to me was a mistake on their part. However, I have questions. Why didn’t they check my documents right away? The police officer’s gun was a meter away from me, my life was in danger. What were they going to do if I refused to comply with their demands? – Milan Posts quotes the player.
Bakayoko has been playing for Milan since the summer of 2021 on loan, his rights belong to London’s Chelsea.
