Mario Fernandez’s agent has denied rumors about the imminent transition of the player to Santos

Agent Jorge Machado, representing the interests of the ex-defender of the Russian national team Mario Fernandez, denied rumors that the Brazilian could become a Santos player in the near future.
Fernandez announced in May that he would suspend his career at the end of the 2021/22 season. Machado later said that the player would like to take a break until at least 2023.
– Did Mario agree on the terms of the contract with Santos? This is not true,” Sport24 quotes Mashadu.
Fernandez moved to CSKA in 2012. The 31-year-old played 329 matches for the Red-Blues, scoring 11 goals and making 47 assists. As part of CSKA, the defender became a three-time champion of Russia, won the country’s Super Cup three times and the Russian Cup once.
