Spartak Academy doctor Nikita Karlitsky explained why Wings of the Soviets midfielder Sergei Pinyaev uses special medical equipment after hospitalization.
“Wings of the Soviets” on July 20 reported that Pinyaev became ill during training, the footballer was sent to the hospital for examination. Doctors diagnosed a 17-year-old player with left-sided spontaneous pneumothorax. Subsequently, the player’s friend Natalya Aleshina published a video from a walk in Samara with a football player who has a pleural drainage tube installed.
“This is a standard procedure so that in the event of repeated air entry between the lungs and the diaphragm, the air due to pressure exits through this hole and enters the bottle. People after pneumothorax walk with this bottle for some time, there is nothing to worry about, – Karlitsky told the Championship.
Pinyaev made 30 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring four goals and making three assists.
