Smolov’s double brought Dynamo a crushing victory over Torpedo in the capital’s derby in the RPL

“Dynamo” in the second round of the WORLD RPL defeated “Torpedo” in the capital’s derby.
The meeting ended with the score 4:0.
In the 32nd minute, Dynamo striker Fedor Smolov completed a combination involving Sergei Parshivlyuk and Arsen Zakharyan and accurately shot from the goalkeeper’s corner. Two minutes later, Smolov earned a penalty, the appointment of which Vladislav Bezborodov confirmed after using VAR. Daniil Fomin confidently converted a penalty kick. In the last minute of regular time of the first half, Zakharyan delivered an accurate shot to the far nine from the left corner of the penalty area and brought the score to a big one.
In the middle of the second half, in the 69th minute, Smolov converted another penalty, earned by substitute striker Yaroslav Gladyshev.
Dynamo has 4 points after two rounds, while Torpedo has no points yet.
On July 30, Dynamo will play away against Fakel Voronezh in the third round. A day later, “Torpedo” on the road will play a game with the Samara “Wings of the Soviets”.
