Alenichev believes that Zenit can be crowned now, the club has no competitors in the RPL

Zenit can already be awarded gold medals in the Russian championship, this season the St. Petersburg club has no competitors in the RPL, according to Dmitry Alenichev, a former footballer for Spartak Moscow and the Russian national team.

Zenit scored four points after two rounds. For the last four seasons, a club from St. Petersburg has become the champion of Russia. In the 3rd round of the MIR RPL Zenit on July 30 will host Lokomotiv at home.

– Will Zenit be given at least some competition this season?

– I think no. None of the teams will compete. “Zenith” can already now give the medal, because they do not leave legionnaires, but rather, they come. None of the teams have a chance to beat Zenit. Of course, I would like to be mistaken, – Alenichev told Match TV.

– A large number of Brazilians will not contribute to the creation of a separate clan within the team?

– When I played in Porto, we had 10 people from Brazil. The coach, who worked before Mourinho, realized that this was too much and reduced the number of Brazilians to four. Then came Mourinho and we won everything we could. Therefore, I am in favor of having as few Brazilians as possible in the team. So that they do not become a separate group within the team, the head coach needs to do a lot of work. And in my opinion, Sergey Bogdanovich (Semak) copes with this task perfectly.
