General Director of Lokomotiv Vladimir Leonchenko commented on the result of the match of the 2nd round of the WORLD RPL with Rostov.

The meeting of the second round was held on Sunday in Moscow and ended in a draw – 2:2. Rostov scored the second goal in the 88th minute, but the home team bounced back in stoppage time for the second half. From the 65th minute, Lokomotiv played in the minority.

– I think that we did not get points in this and in the previous rounds. What is the reason? A lot of them. There are also purely sporting aspects that are directly related to the team’s game and the coaching staff. We have a lot of positive moments in the game, which allow us to count on more.

However, there are also things that all of us in Russian football will have to work hard to change, – Leonchenko is quoted by RB Sport.

Lokomotiv is 10th in the RPL standings with 2 points, Rostov (2) is in 11th place. In the third round, Lokomotiv will play away with Zenit on July 30, and Rostov will host Khimki the next day.
