Lokomotiv defender Fasson will no longer play this year due to injury

Lokomotiv defender Lukas Fasson suffered a knee injury and will miss from 7 to 9 months, according to the official site Moscow club.
Fasson was injured at the end of the first half of the match of the second round of the WORLD RPL against Rostov (2: 2) on July 24. The 21-year-old Brazilian was substituted at half-time.
– A comprehensive examination of Lukas Fasson revealed damage to the cruciate ligament of the left knee joint. In the coming days, we will decide on the clinic where the operation will be performed. Currently, we have sent MRI images to the leading clinics in Europe. We are waiting for confirmation of the diagnosis from colleagues. After the operation, the recovery time will be clear,” said Igor Kalyuzhny, the head physician of the railway workers.
Fasson moved to Lokomotiv in early June and signed a 4-year contract.
