English football clubs risk leaving fans without paraphernalia. 19 teams do not have a single kit for sale

More than half of England’s four division football clubs do not have 2022/23 home and away kits available for sale as manufacturers face problems along the production and supply chain, reports BBC.
Currently, out of 92 clubs, only 44 teams have both kits available for sale, 22 teams only their home kit, 7 teams only their away kit, and 19 teams have neither available. Among the main causes of supply problems is the failure of factories in Asia due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
In the Premier League, Leeds United have been hit the hardest by saying their new kit will only go on sale at the end of August, three weeks into the season. Adidas issued a press release apologizing for the delay due to “unprecedented issues over the past year.”
League Two club Stockport County lost part (15%) of their order at the port of entry to the UK. The team is supplied by the German company Puma.
The new season of the English Football Championship starts on 6 August.
