Legendary CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love will continue his career in Brazil, journalist Fabio Aleixo said on Twitter.
According to him, the 38-year-old Brazilian will sign a contract with the club at home by the end of the week. At the same time, the striker still wants to return to Russia, but those clubs that could sign a contract with him are already fully staffed.
Vagner Love played for CSKA from 2004 to 2013 with loan breaks in Brazilian clubs, and also in the 2013/14 season. As part of the army team, he played 259 matches, scored 124 goals, became a four-time Russian champion, a six-time Russian Cup winner, and a UEFA Cup winner. The 38-year-old striker’s last club was Danish Midtjylland, for which he played in 2022.
