“I don’t want to comment on nonsense.” Fedun responded to rumors about leaving Spartak
The chairman of the board of directors of the Moscow football club Spartak, Leonid Fedun, denied the information that he would leave the post.
According to the Telegram channel “SPARTAK KB TELEGA”, Fedun as head of the board of directors of the “red-white” may soon be replaced by the first vice-president of “Lukoil” Alexander Matytsyn.
“This is nonsense, I don’t want to comment on the nonsense that appears in the press from time to time,” Fedun told RBC Sport.
Fedun has been the head of the board of directors of Spartak since 2005. Last season, the team won the Russian Cup and took 10th place in the national championship.
