Former Spartak coach Raul Riancho responded with a quote from the Gospel to a critical statement by former Red-White midfielder Denis Glushakov, who plays for Khimki.

Earlier, the midfielder said that he still expects to play for the Moscow club again. Riancho, in a commentary for Sport24, said that the midfielder’s possible return to the Red-Whites would be “a big joke.” To this, the football player said: “For four years now, as a headless chicken, he has been saying something.”

“I don’t care what this man says! The phrase is not mine, but it clearly defines the person: “By their deeds you will know who they are” (quote from the Gospel of Matthew – 7:16, option – “You will know them by the fruits of their deeds”).

I respect everyone, but nothing interests me in this person. I think he is using the media to get back to his business, haha,” Riancho told Sport24.

Glushakov played for Spartak from 2013 to 2019, became the champion of Russia in the 2016/17 season. The contract of the 35-year-old player with the Moscow Region club is calculated until the summer of 2024.
