Some 10,000 Roma fans attended a street presentation for newcomer Paulo Dybala on Tuesday, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Romans on July 20 announced the transfer of the 28-year-old Argentine as a free agent. The ex-Juventus striker has signed a three-year contract with Roma.
Dybala’s presentation took place outside the Palace of the Civilization of Labor, where he greeted the team’s supporters and then sat on the steps and listened to the crowd sing the Roma anthem.
The Argentinean announced his departure from Turin’s Juventus in May after seven years with the club. As part of the team, the footballer scored 115 goals in 293 matches, became a five-time Italian champion and a four-time winner of the country’s Cup.
