Cherchesov commented on the rumors about the possible transfer of Dziuba and Ozdoev to Ferencvaros

Ex-coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov, who now heads Ferencvaros, commented on rumors about the possible invitation of Artem Dziuba and Magomed Ozdoev to the Hungarian club.

On Wednesday, Ferencváros beat Slovan 4-1 in the return leg of the second round of the Champions League qualification. In the first match, Slovan won with a score of 2:1. According to the sum of meetings, the Hungarian club reached the third round of qualification, where they will play with Qarabag.

– Free Russian players – Dziuba, Ozdoev and others – are stubbornly sent to you.

– When such players are free, it will always be. Moreover, I know them well. Another thing is that we have a complete set both in the center of the field and in attack. If there was no complete set, then the guys would be happy to consider it. But not all of us even get into the application, because it is limited. Our main striker didn’t play with Slovan, because he had an injury, Marquinhos didn’t get into the squad at all. If there were problems, they would think, but where should we go? The budget is not rubber, – quotes the words of Cherchesov “Championship”.

Dzyuba is a free agent after leaving Zenit St. Petersburg. In July, Dzyuba trained with Rubin, which is playing in the MELBET First League this season. Also in the off-season, 29-year-old Ozdoev decided not to renew his agreement with Zenit and became a free agent.

The discussion about tightening the limit in the RPL is not over – Dyukov

Discussion of a possible tightening of the limit for foreign players in the Russian Premier League (RPL) is not finished yet. The president of the Russian Football Federation told journalists this (RFU) Alexander Diukov.

The Ministry of Sports proposes to tighten the limit for foreign players by 2028 according to the “10 foreign players in the application, 5 on the field” scheme.

“The Ministry gave the football community, experts and specialists the opportunity to talk openly about this issue. As far as I understand, the discussion process continues,” Dyukov said.

According to the current limit, clubs RPL can include 13 foreign players in the application and release 8 foreign players on the field. In September, the Russian Football Federation said that the current limit allows for the first time to increase the playing time of young players to 18%.
