The ex-footballer of Spartak Ayaz Guliyev called the behavior of the former head coach Domenico Tedesco in relation to the club hypocritical.
The German specialist worked at Spartak in 2019-2021. He is currently in charge of RB Leipzig.
– Tedesco – the worst coach in your career?
Yes, he is a good coach. I have never had any questions about his professional qualities. But human and professional are two different things.
You may think that my words are caused by some kind of resentment or anger. But I am objective. Look at a recent example. When Spartak was expelled from the Europa League in February, Tedesco publicly supported the decision. I hope that then many understood what kind of person he really was. I wonder why he so quickly forgot how he confessed his love for Spartak? Isn’t that hypocrisy? I don’t understand that. Tedesco is a chameleon. Always adapts to the environment to please everyone. It contradicts itself, – Sport24 quotes Guliyev.
Moscow “Spartak” was supposed to play in the 1/8 finals of the Europa League, but was excluded from the current draw of the tournament by decision of UEFA due to the situation in Ukraine.
