Fakel believes that it is important for small clubs to receive sponsorship funds from the RPL throughout the season

Fakel General Director Roman Askhabadze admitted that it is important for a small Voronezh club to receive funds from MIR RPL contracts with sponsors in accordance with the schedule that the league already has.
– For such small clubs as Fakel, it is very important to receive funds in accordance with the schedule signed by the RPL with sponsors. If at least once a quarter to receive income that the league already has in accordance with the contracts, then such a system will allow the clubs to approach this topic correctly from a financial point of view. We have already raised this issue, we hope to receive specifics in the near future. There is no struggle – the leadership of the league treats this issue with understanding. I can’t speak for everyone, but I think at least three or four, and maybe five clubs support this story and will support it to the end,” Askhabadze told the “Championship”.
In the start of the season, MIR RPL Fakel scored one point in two rounds. The club returned to the elite of Russian football last season after 21 years.
