Fakel explained the record low price for season tickets for RPL matches

The general director of the Voronezh Fakel Roman Askhabadze explained why the team set a record low price for season tickets for WORLD RPL matches of the 2022/2023 season.

The cheapest season ticket for the team’s eight home games in the first part of the season costs 1,670 rubles.

– Each fan must have conditions corresponding to the ticket price. We understand that there is a lot of excitement, there are many fans, but now the economic situation in the country is not the best, and our stadium was not built for the World Cup, so that it would have all the comfortable conditions and many different services. Therefore, we were not entitled to raise prices much, although we understood that because of such a decision we would lose a lot. But for us, the priority is the fans and their capabilities.

I am not an altruist in this regard, but I understand very well: if we had a wonderful new arena with all the possibilities, of course, the cost of tickets would be different. If we played in another stadium and sold season tickets at that price, you could say that I went a little crazy. And so it is not so much noble as fair, – Askhabadze told the “Championship”.

“Torch” at the end of last season returned to the elite of Russian football. After two rounds of the WORLD RPL season 2022/23, the team has 1 point.

In the third round match, Fakel will host Dynamo Moscow. The game will take place on July 30th.
