A histological examination revealed a malignant testicular tumor in Borussia Dortmund striker Sebastien Aller, according to the website of the German football club.

“Now Sebestyen will receive the best possible treatment. The chances of recovery are very good. We wish him and his family much strength and optimism, and our thoughts are with him at this difficult time,” said Sebastian Kehl, sports director of the Yellow-Blacks.
The preliminary recovery period for the forward will be several months. The club will not inform the public about the progress of the player’s treatment.
In the summer transfer window, Aller moved to Borussia Dortmund from Ajax Amsterdam, signing a contract until June 30, 2026. Previously, he played for the English “West Ham”, “Eintracht” from Frankfurt, the Dutch “Utrecht”, the French “Auxerre”. He has 15 caps and 4 goals for the Ivory Coast national team.
