Zenit scored five unanswered goals against Lokomotiv in the RPL match

Petersburg “Zenith” beat Moscow “Lokomotiv” in the match of the 3rd round of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting took place in St. Petersburg and ended with the score 5:0 in favor of the hosts. Wendel, Claudinho, Ivan Sergeev (twice) and Zelimkhan Bakaev scored among the winners, who converted a penalty.
At the end of the match, midfielder and Lokomotiv captain Dmitry Barinov received a direct red card for a violation in the penalty area.
Zenit topped the RPL standings with 7 points, Lokomotiv (2) is in 13th place.
In the next round, Zenit will go on a visit to Grozny’s Akhmat, and Lokomotiv will meet Krasnodar on the road. Both meetings will take place on 6 August.
