The head coach of “Orenburg” Marcel Lichka said that the crushing defeat from the Moscow “Spartak” reflects the real level of the team in the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
“Orenburg” in the 3rd round of the RPL lost to “Spartak” with a score of 1:4. After three matches, the club from Orenburg is in 10th place in the table with three points.
– Before the game, I told the guys that this match would be a mirror of our real level in the RPL. The score was 4:1 by right, because Spartak created good chances. We started the game very badly, such players as in Spartak should not be given a lot of time to receive the ball.
There were good interceptions of the ball, but we have big problems with the transition to the attack. Spartak, when they made an interception, immediately went into a fast counterattack, did not lose the ball and decided the situation to the end, before the kick, corners, and we immediately lost balls. Quality was on the side of Spartak.
