“Cristiano left to watch the PSG-Nantes match. Fans criticize Ronaldo after his first game of the offseason
On the eve of “Manchester United” played a draw with the Spanish “Rayo Vallecano” in a friendly match. The meeting ended with the score 1:1.
Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo started the match in the starting lineup and was replaced at half-time. Fans of the English club were disappointed with the performance of the Portuguese.
“The (comedy) king played on Sunday,” one fan posted on social media.
“Ronaldo is no longer king,” reads another post.
“Ronaldo left before the final whistle to watch the PSG-Nantes match,” a fan quipped, alluding to Ronaldo’s rivalry with Lionel Messi, who played for Paris that day in the French Football Super Cup.
Prior to the game with the Spanish club, 37-year-old Ronaldo did not play a single match in preparation for the new season.
