“Happy to be back.” Ronaldo on playing against Rayo Vallecano

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo on the page on Twitter shared his impressions of participating in a friendly match against Rayo Vallecano.

“Happy to be back,” the 37-year-old wrote.

The Portuguese entered the field in the starting lineup, taking part in the first match for Manchester United in the offseason. Ronaldo failed to score and was substituted at half-time. He missed the last five matches, citing family problems, in particular, the player was absent from United’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia.

Earlier, the media reported on the desire of the Portuguese to change the club. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored 24 goals in 38 games for the team last season.
