Crvena Zvezda defender Strahinja Erakovic may move to Zenit after the World Cup in Qatar, RB Sport reports.
The footballer remains one of the transfer goals of Zenit. At the same time, Red Star Zvezda refuses to sell Strahinja anywhere in the summer transfer window and intends to wait until winter for the price tag to increase for the defender.
The Serbian club is confident that after the performance at the World Championships in Qatar, the price for Erakovic will increase significantly, and then the club’s management will choose the most profitable among the proposals received.
At the same time, a transition to Zenit is not ruled out if the Blue-White-Blues are ready to pay the required amount. Erakovic is currently valued at 5 million euros by Transfermarkt.
At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Serbian national team, for which Erakovic plays, will play Brazil, Cameroon and Switzerland in the group stage.
