Former chairman of the board of directors of Lokomotiv Anatoly Meshcheryakov commented on the transfer of midfielder Alexis Beck-Beck to Nice.
The Moscow club reported that the transfer amount was 12 million euros, another two million could be paid as bonuses.
– Any deal with the transfer of a player to Europe at the present time is, in my opinion, a decent job of the sports departments and the club’s management. You have to look further.
– Did Lokomotiv hurry up with the sale? Now there are few quality foreign players in the RPL.
– At least, Lokomotiv recaptured its own. If a French club buys a player for that kind of money, then you need to give it back. I do not think that in the near future it could be done on other terms.
– Does it surprise you that Lokomotiv openly published the amount of the transfer?
– Lokomotiv always fights for the leading places, and now it is in third place from the bottom. Therein lies the answer to the question. Does Lokomotiv have a game? No.
– So, this is done to show the level of the team?
Well, at least something positive. But we do not see the money that is in the documents, and we do not know all the conditions.
Could this be false information?
— No, we always trust when they talk about themselves.
– Should we wait for Lokomotiv to be the first to open payrolls?
“I don’t think it’s a problem at all. But, on the other hand, I think that this is definitely not necessary. This leads to problems.
– Can it cause imbalance in the team?
– Not something that can cause. You will call it. Nobody needs it for sure, and most importantly, it’s harmful, ”Meshcheryakov quotes “Sport day after day.”
Beka-Beka made 26 appearances in all competitions last season. In the WORLD RPL season 2022/23, he played two matches and received one red card. Beka-Beka moved to Lokomotiv from Kahn in August 2021 for 7 million euros.
