The head coach of “Rubin” Leonid Slutsky said that he did not talk with striker Artem Dzyuba about the possible performances of a football player for the Kazan club.
On Monday, the general director of Rubin, Rustem Saimanov, in a conversation with Match TV, denied the information that appeared in the media that the 33-year-old striker would appear in the application for a meeting with Ufa in the third round of MELBET-First League. The meeting took place in Kazan and ended with the score 0:0. Dzyuba at the end of last season left the St. Petersburg “Zenith”.
“Dziuba and I did not talk about this,” Slutsky told reporters.
Now the striker is training with Rubin, keeping fit.
Earlier, the honorary president of the RFU, Vyacheslav Koloskov, said that Russian football still needs Dziuba. “Yes, his level, of course, fell. If he had remained the same, he would have played in Zenith. But it is a pity if he goes abroad, to a provincial club, like Ozdoev. He would also be useful here, a player of a good level. Footballer of the national team, but suddenly turned out to be of no use to anyone. And some strange people are brought to the RPL from all over South America, from the beaches, ”Koloskov told a correspondent legalbet.
