Cherchesov’s Ferencvaros recognized possible opponents in the Champions League play-off round
The UEFA Champions League play-off round draw for the 2022/23 season has taken place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, according to the organization’s official website.
The draw determined six couples, the winners of which will fill the remaining vacancies in the group stage.
Hungarian “Ferencvaros” from Budapest, whose head coach is Russian specialist Stanislav Cherchesov, in case of victory over the Azerbaijani “Karabakh” in the third qualifying round, will go to the winner of the confrontation between the Moldavian “Sheriff” and the Czech “Victoria”.

Karabakh (Azerbaijan) / Ferencvaros (Hungary) – Sheriff (Moldova) / Victoria (Czech Republic)
Boude-Glimt (Norway) / Zalgiris (Lithuania) – Ludogorets (Bulgaria) / Dynamo Zagreb (Croatia)

From this stage, two clubs entered the fray: Trabzonspor and Copenhagen.
