Newcomer Zenit goalkeeper Ivan Quaresma is sure that his work should be treated as responsibly as possible, and not primarily think about entertainment.
– In Russia, some are still convinced that if there are a lot of Brazilians in the team, then this is samba, parties and a violation of discipline. What can you say to such people?
“Brazilians are cheerful people who like to have a good time,” Ivan said in an interview with “Championship”. But first and foremost, I am a professional. I must be serious and behave responsibly. In training, you need to give all your best, and for this you need to feel good. That is, get enough sleep and come not awake.
– Have you already understood how Brazilians like to spend time at Zenit – do they go to visit each other, to restaurants?
– I think a little bit of everything. You can go to a restaurant together, get together at someone’s house. At the same time, we must not forget that everyone needs personal space. But being constantly in touch is a good remedy for boredom. I think if Russians lived in Brazil, they would also meet and communicate with each other.
On July 19, Zenit rented Ivan from Corinthians. The agreement with the 25-year-old player is designed for a year and contains a clause on the right to buy the player.
