“I don’t understand his words.” Akinfeev replied to Safonov

CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev offered Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov a career better than him.
Earlier, 23-year-old Safonov told Match TV that he did not consider the army goalkeeper better than himself, and also noted that the place of the best goalkeeper in Russia was vacant.
– The reaction to the words of Matvey Safonov? Well, why should I be offended? Everyone has their own opinion. There have been so many things in my life. I think Matthew is a smart guy. Someone perceives these words of his like this, someone like that, but I don’t perceive it at all. I did what I could in the national team, and in my career I did what I could. What God gave me, and what I earned with my own feet. If Matvey gets better, please, ”Akinfeev, 36, said in an interview with the YouTube channel of the Russian national football team.
As part of the Moscow club, Akinfeev won 6 Russian championships, 6 Russian Cups, 7 Russian Super Cups and the UEFA Cup.
