Fakel extended the contract with the defender who scored an own goal in the RPL match with Dynamo

Fakel extended the contract with defender Vasily Cherov, the press service of the club from Voronezh reports.
The term of the agreement with the 26-year-old Russian football player is not specified.
Cherov moved to Fakel from Kuban in the summer of 2021. As part of the Voronezh team, in total, he played 51 matches in all tournaments, scoring two goals. In particular, in the season 2022/23 WORLD RPL, the footballer played three games in which he scored an own goal. This happened in the 49th minute of the match of the 3rd round with Dynamo Moscow (3:3).
Cherov was also a player in the Russian youth team.
Fakel is 12th in the Russian Championship standings with two points.
