Everton defender Godfrey injured in Chelsea match

Everton defender Ben Godfrey left the field on a stretcher after he was injured in the first round match of the championship in England against Chelsea.
In the first half, Godfrey made an unsuccessful back pass to goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, after which the ball went to the midfielder of the London club Kai Havertz. Godfrey decided to fight Havertz and landed unsuccessfully on his pivot foot.
Doctors treated the toffee player on the field, he was sent to the hospital. The diagnosis and severity of the football player’s injury is still unknown.
