Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schulz has been accused of domestic violence against a pregnant girl, Fear The Wall reports, citing Bild.
According to the source, the episode took place in 2020. The football player hit the girl in the stomach two weeks before she gave birth to a child. According to the prosecutor, Schultz attempted to terminate the pregnancy. The girl also stated that she had been abused by the player several more times.
“To date, we have not heard anything about this investigation. We will definitely contact the player to discuss these serious allegations, – quotes the comment of the representatives of Borussia Bild.
Later, the football player, through his representatives, denied the information that had appeared. An investigation is underway at the moment.
The 29-year-old played in 24 games last season and provided three assists.
