Manchester United lost to Brighton at Old Trafford in the first round of the English Premier League.
The meeting ended with the defeat of the Mancunians with a score of 1:2.
Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross scored twice, scoring in the 30th and 39th minutes of the match. In the 68th minute, Seagulls midfielder Alexis McAlister scored an own goal.
Portuguese striker Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo appeared on the field in the 53rd minute, replacing the Brazilian Fred.
