Sochi head coach Alexander Tochilin complained about the difficult conditions for the fourth round match of the Russian Championship against PARI NN.
The meeting in Sochi ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the hosts, in which goals were scored by Christian Noboa (32nd minute, from the penalty spot) and Artur Yusupov (38).
– Played a good game. The first half was perfect for us. Scored two goals, could have done more. In the second half, we controlled the course of the game, but did not convert 100% chances. In the end, this influenced the ending. The rest of the balls we left for the next game. What we did not implement here, we will implement in the next match.
Today I had not only to fight against the opponent, but also to cope with the field and sweltering weather. Well done guys, they survived, – Tochilin’s words are quoted on the Sochi website.
The head coach of the Nizhny Novgorod team, Mikhail Galaktionov, noted that the team has problems with playing defense.
– Unfortunately, we still don’t quite get certain moments for the implementation of the game in defense. Missed two goals. After that, they began to “highly” meet the opponent. In the second half we ran forward and opened up. The hosts also had good moments. We scored our goal, but we were not enough for more. I congratulate Sochi on the victory, Galaktionov told Match TV.
Sochi in the next round will play on the road with Spartak, PARI NN will host Rostov. Both matches will be played on 14 August.
