Well-known British journalist Piers Morgan expressed the opinion that Cristiano Ronaldo is right in his desire to leave Manchester United.
Cristiano Ronaldo is not Manchester United’s “problem”. The problem is that the rest of the team is not up to the task of lacing his boots in terms of quality, work ethic, commitment and will to win. That’s why he wants to leave, and who can blame him? Morgan wrote on the social network.
Earlier media reported that the five-time winner of the Golden Ball insisted that the management of Manchester United let him go this summer. The club finished sixth in the Premier League last season, with Ronaldo scoring 24 goals in all competitions.
