Former head coach of Lokomotiv Igor Cherevchenko told RIA Novosti Sport that he refused three foreign clubs and would not mind working again in the Moscow team.
On Saturday, in the match of the fourth round of the WORLD RPL, Lokomotiv lost away to Krasnodar (0: 3) and takes 14th place in the championship standings with two points. In June, the German Josef Zinnbauer became the head coach of the Moscow team. On Sunday, the former owner of Spartak Andrey Chervichenko, in an interview with Match TV, proposed appointing Cherevchenko as the head coach of Ural instead of Igor Shalimov.
– Would it be interesting to return to Lokomotiv? Not just interesting, but very interesting. Still, this is my native club, I am very worried about it. After leaving Khimki, I had three offers from abroad, but I turned them all down. I am not ready to part with my family, without it it will be hard for me. So at the moment, the search for a team in Russia is a priority,” Cherevchenko said.
In 2015, Cherevchenko as and. about. head coach won the Cup of Russia with Lokomotiv.
