– It’s hard to say that Torpedo doesn’t work out. We need to work on the bugs. The first 15 minutes with Khimki were bad, after a missed goal we sorted it out a little. After the penalty, we played quite well. And the second half started well. There were times we didn’t use them ourselves. As a result, they missed it, and at the end there was already chaos. In principle, 65 minutes before Khimki’s second goal is one of Torpedo’s best games this season in terms of content. You just need to draw conclusions and try to play the whole match to the end, until the last minute, – said Smolnikov “Championship”.
Torpedo has one point and is 15th in the RPL standings. Smolnikov, 34, who previously played for the team in 2006-2007, returned to it before the start of the 2022/23 season.
