Karpin reacted to the possible appointment of the coach of the Russian national team Pisarev in Khimki
The head coach of Rostov and the Russian national team Valery Karpin reacted to the possible appointment of his national team assistant Nikolai Pisarev to Khimki.
On Tuesday, August 9, Khimki supervisory board member Roman Teryushkov announced that head coach Sergei Yuran would leave Khimki by mutual agreement of the parties. According to Teryushkov, Pisarev may take the vacant post in the near future.
– Pisarev in Khimki? I haven’t heard anything about this yet. Not in the know, – Karpin is quoted by RB Sport.
Juran has been in charge of Khimki since February 23. According to Match TV, a 53-year-old specialist can receive 35-40 million rubles as a penalty upon resignation.
Khimki, having scored 7 points, is on the 7th line in the WORLD RPL standings.
