The 53-year-old specialist Sergei Yuran and the club’s management had disagreements regarding key issues of the club’s development, said CEO Dmitry Ulyanov.
On August 10, Khimki announced Yuran’s resignation as head coach. The Russian Football Union (RFU) reported that the coach of the Russian national team Nikolai Pisarev headed Khimki, the head coach of the Russian beach soccer team Mikhail Likhachev will be his assistant.
– We thank Sergey Nikolayevich, who came at a difficult moment for the club and left Khimki in the Premier League. Unfortunately, there were several key issues regarding the development of the club, on which the management team and the head coach had differences. We agreed to terminate the contract, – said Ulyanov, whose words are quoted by the official website of Khimki.
Currently, Khimki are seventh in the WORLD RPL standings with 7 points after 4 rounds.
