The former head coach of Dynamo Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg Anatoly Byshovets called the departure from the Champions League of the Hungarian Ferencváros, which is headed by Russian specialist Stanislav Cherchesov, unexpected.
“Ferencvaros” on the road lost to the Azerbaijani “Karabakh” in the second leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League with a score of 1:3 (the first match – 1:1).
– An unexpected result. Qarabag cannot be attributed to the teams that would have an advantage over Ferencváros. Now the team has the opportunity to rehabilitate itself in the Europa League,” Anatoly Byshovets said to the “Championship”.
Now Ferencváros will continue its way to the Europa League, where it will play with the Irish Shamrock Rovers in the play-off round.
