UEFA named contenders for the title of the best player and coach of the year

UEFA nominated midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and striker Karim Benzema (both Real Madrid) for the title of best player of the year. This was reported by the press service of the organization.
Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), Josep Guardiola (Manchester City) and Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) were among the contenders for the best manager award.
The results will be announced during the Champions League group stage draw, which will be held in Istanbul on 25 August.
