Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville criticized the team after a crushing defeat by Brentford (0:4) in the second round match of the Premier League.
“Hard work beats talent. The current Manchester United players are not fast enough and lack any confidence. They do not have the ability to fight, which has been manifesting for the past year. The nadir of all this has been reached today. There is a feeling that the current United are able to constantly surpass themselves in terms of high-profile failures, “Neville said.
Manchester United will host Liverpool in the next round. The match is scheduled for August 22.
