Former Lokomotiv captain Gurenko does not consider Anton Miranchuk a team leader

Former Lokomotiv captain Sergei Gurenko believes that the club’s midfielder Anton Miranchuk is not in the best shape and is not currently the team leader.
“He is not in the best condition. It seems to me that Anton is sprayed and uses his strengths incorrectly. At the moment, he is not a link between defense and attack. Miranchuk sometimes rises too high, then falls to the center line. He’s out of his element, or the staff doesn’t understand how to use the midfielder properly. He is a quality footballer, but I don’t see in him a leader on which the whole game would be built, ”Gurenko told RT.
In the current season, in five rounds of the WORLD RPL, 26-year-old Miranchuk scored two goals and gave one assist.
