Round 5 anti-squad. The stars that disappointed Zenit, CSKA and Lokomotiv

Famous people are back in the penalty area.

Doorman

Artur Nigmatullin (Paris NN)

In this round, the goalkeepers had enough crackers and Nigmatullin conceded goals for both himself and his colleagues. The penalty wasn’t his fault, but when Poloz scored an important third goal for Rostov, Artur made a gross and inexplicable mistake. It appears that he has shut down from the game, hoping for an offside position. And Utkina could not cope with the punishment, although there was a chance, the ball fell and Glebov was not in the lead. One save after Poloz poke was enough to break even, as Karpin pointed out after the match.

Defenders

Alexey Sutormin (Zenit)

Sutormin tried to stop Moises against the rules, but the Brazilian side stood up, went over and gave the fight a pass. It all ended with a penalty kick against Zenit. Had Mantouan not scored later on his debut with an insane long-range shot, Semak would have lost two points in the home game against CSKAdespite Zenit’s strong kick before half-time. Sutormin was substituted three minutes after the penalty.

Ilya Kutepov (Torpedo)

As part of Spartak, Kutepov never retired RPL. Ilya tried to commit a clear foul on the experience, but obviously he knocked down an opponent who rushed one on one. With the repetitions, it became easier to analyze such episodes: it is clear that even a light touch was enough to make the attacker lose his balance. Awareness of Kutepov’s actions is obvious. In the minority, “Torpedo” failed to recapture “Orenburg”, who inflicted 30 blows in the direction of the other gates.

Sergej Terechov (Sochi)

Before the break, they did not remember the defense in Sochi, they played great, Spartak remained at home without a single precise hit. But in the second half the opponent rebuilt and the guests’ defense made a mistake. Ignatov intercepted Terekhov’s ball – thus Promes’ first goal was created. So Sergei did not keep pace with either Zinkovsky or Quincy. Spartak have raised the number of goals at the start of the season to 14 in five games, while Sochi has its own streak – five games with goals conceded in a row.

Midfielders

Francois Camano (Locomotive)

He did not convert a penalty and, even worse, that at other times Camano played just as predictably. Francois participated in the attacks of Lokomotiv, three shots, three passes under someone else’s shot, but Lomaev and Krylya Sovetov’s defenders always faced. Camano lost his place in the second half against Kerk, but the Dutchman played even worse: he didn’t find a single moment. As a result, Lokomotiv was closed at the base until the next game. Strange methodsit won’t necessarily work.

Wilmar Barrios (Zenith)

Barrios was on because he didn’t do much. CSKA it looked bad before the attack was interrupted, but as soon as the “soldiers” switched to their attacks, the support zone of “Zenith” sank. Semak reacted when he moved Santos to the center of the pitch in Barrios, and Vilmar could finish the match before removal, because he grabbed his opponent by the neck. It was fortunate that there was not the slightest hit in the face, so they would have given a clean red one. However, Barrios was bad.

Maxim Mukhin (CSKA)

Of all the central midfielders in the main game of the tour, only Wendel played decently, but the Brazilian was tired and also retired more often in the second half, creating no chances. This is only Mukhin, even before the break, he suffered in the fight against the attacks of other people. Akinfeev knowingly shouted to his teammates: Zenit won the first half on strike with a score of 7: 0. Many shots were from outside the penalty area, but two St. Petersburg goals were long shots from the Mukhin area.

Mamadou Maiga (Paris NN)

Ridiculous incidents involving Maig influenced the match in Nizhny Novgorod. First, the attacking midfielder earned a penalty: he hit Chernov in the face with his hand, a stupid negligent foul. After Poloz’s goal, the hosts get up, even from the penalty spot, but then Maiga raises his hand and Utkin converts a free kick with an insidious kick after that violation. In attack, Mamadou scored only one blocked shot. Unsurprisingly, Pari NN almost recovered only after replacing the Malian.

Victor Mendes (CSKA)

The fault lies with Fedotov for throwing the Chilean into the cauldron of the St. Petersburg match. But because he’s a professional footballer who knows how to talk, he had to give up the basics if he felt he wasn’t ready for the match, or play better on his temper. Mendez was put into position. Carrascal, because the Colombian was not ready for the whole game and the Chilean Victor was lost. He did not take part in any of the attacks, he was substituted in the interval. Before the break CSKA in fact played in the minority.

come on

Wilson Isidor (Lokomotive)

When a player declares that he will leave, there is always the risk of mentally losing him. The decision has been made and it is extremely difficult to force yourself to work as before. It is possible that Isidore’s negotiations with one of the French clubs have come to a halt, so Wilson stayed inside RPL. So, don’t expect spring football from him. Lokomotiv attacks as best he can, but is sad without the young striker’s help. Montenegrin Rakognac, who came out in Isodor’s place, was brighter and more specific.

Ivan Sergeev (Zenit)

Only Cassierra’s poor functional state helps Sergeyev practice early in the season. Ivan, like Mateo, falls short of his Brazilian counterparts from the attack in terms of training and skill. Both should understand that Malcolm, Claudinho (skipped the game with CSKA) and Wendel above the class, should work with doubled energy. Sergeev does not compete with Dziuba and Azmun, he seems to participate in attacks, but he looks pale. The replacement of the attacker in the second half did not surprise.

coaches

Marvin Compper and Josef Zinnbauer (Lokomotiv)

Garanin lost to Abaskal by three goals, but it was a high-quality tactical handshake, no skirmishes, like Tuchel and Conte. Pisarev spent three hours in Khimki, it is clear why he lost. CSKA missed after long-range shots, these do not always reach, and Pari NN played hockey in Rostov, did not give up, it is not even the manager’s fault. Who stays? Jokanovic must be reproached for not having physically prepared Dinamo: he gives away the ball, plays the rebound, stages rare moments. But the Lokomotiv coaches are working much worse. The Moscow club is in the play-off zone, the worst start of all the rich and famous.

Akhmat denied interest in the possible departure of Jikia and Gundry

General director of the football club “Akhmat” Akhmed Aydamirov has denied the club’s interest in the Turkish defender from Antalyaspor Georgy Dzhikia and the possible departure of the Grozny defender Nadera Gundry to one of the Qatari teams. Aidamirov’s comment is quoted by Sport-Express.

“We are not negotiating Jikia’s transition. Just because something is written somewhere doesn’t mean it’s true. We had no proposals for Gundry. He has a valid contract with us and is at the club,” Aidamirov said.

Jikia is 32 years old, he moved to Antalyaspor in 2025, this season the player played 13 matches in which he scored 2 goals. His last club in Russia was Khimki near Moscow; before that he played for Spartak Moscow. With the red and white team he won the Russian Championship (2017), the Cup (2022) and the National Super Cup (2017). Dzhikia played 44 matches for the Russian national team, scoring 2 goals and giving 1 assist. As part of the national team, the footballer played at the Confederations Cup (2017) and the European Championship (2021).

Gundry is 30 years old, moved to Akhmat in 2024 and played 63 games for the club, in which he scored five goals. Previously, the player won the Belgian Cup with Antwerp (2019/20), became champion of Tunisia (2014/15) and the Tunisian Cup (2017) with Club Africain. The defender also played for Belgian Westerlo, Bulgarian Slavia, French Drancy and Arles-Avignon and emirate Ajman. Defender of the Ukrainian national team: “This will be the match of our lives”

On March 26, the Ukrainian team will play the semi-final play-off match against the Swedish team in the World Cup qualifiers. Expectations from this confrontation in an exclusive interview with the site Spor.ua said the captain of our team Nikolay Matvienko.

“I think this is the strongest team we can get,” Matvienko said. – Right now everyone is focused on the situation of the Swedes. But our meeting will take place in two months. Everything can change. Sweden has a very strong squad and many of their players represent elite European clubs. They, like us, set the goal of getting to the World Championship, so a very tough challenge awaits us.

For me, the poor performance of the Swedes in the qualifying tournament means nothing. Every team can do their best in a match, even if it is an outsider, and Sweden is one of the strong European teams, that’s for sure.

For the Ukrainian national team, this will be a match of life, like all previous matches. After all, we understand that a war is going on in the country and every victory, even on the sports front, brings joy to Ukrainians in such a difficult period.
